ABOUT ELIZABETH
Elizabeth Scokin is a successful entrepreneur and owner of
Nashville
based Elizabeth Scokin Productions, a luxury PR, fashion and
event
planning firm. She has planned events for Lee Ann Womack, Candace
Bushnell and Georgette Mosbacher as well as chaired the wildly
successful
Halston Borghese Archives Fashion Show for Lexus. Along with
running
her own company, Ms. Scokin is also a prominently involved
in
Nashville’s social and philanthropic communities.
Ms. Scokin was recently seen in the front row of over seventeen
major
fashion
shows during this years Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week Spring 2008, occurring this past September. In addition to the shows, Ms. Scokin, a
fashion insider,
was invited to several private dinner parties given for different
designers.
She has also been seen on the pages of WWD, Town and Country, Hampton’s,
Gotham,
Avenue, The New York Daily News, Ocean Drive and
Palm Beach Society.
With her vast experience and talent in the fashion and social
world,
Ms. Scokin is the Southern authority on the latest styles and
trends and
was an anchor for Canada 1 and FashionNashville.com during
the recent
fashion shows in New York City. Along with her television experience,
Ms. Scokin is also a notable journalist. She is the
creator of the popular “Style File” column in NFocus
Magazine as well as well as acontributing fashion correspondent for several metropolitan newspapers. Moreover she is featured in celebrity photographer Patrick McMullan’s new book, “Glamour Girls”. One of her
newest
venture's is FashionNashville.com and is Nashville’s
guide to gorgeous
living, parties, entertaining, travel, beauty and style. Hamptons magazine was quoted as saying, “ FashionNashville.com will become the city’s style bible”.
Ms. Scokin launched the wildly popular Haute Hostess Aprons by Eliza beth Scokin last November. They will be featured in the December issues of Oprah, O At Home and Domino magazines.
