Elizabeth Scokin also donates her time to several different charitable organizations, such as the Junior League of Nashville, Nashville Ballet, New Yorkers for Children, Nashville Symphony, Cheekwood Museum & Botanical Garden, Nashville Antiques & Garden Show, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, Nashville Independent Film Festival, Nashville Cares, O’More College of Design, Nashville Opera, Susan G. Komen Foundation, March of Dimes and the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. She is also a strong supporter of The Nashville Chamber Orchestra and Senior Citizens, Inc. as a board member in Nashville. Ms. Scokin is the mother of four children and wife to the late Joe Majors, former Houston Oilers football player and prominent lobbyist.
